Hi, my name is Val Fay
|
I have been writing music for approximately 8 years. I work in different
genres, pop, ballads, musicals and instrumentals. Recently, since moving to the
USA, I became interested in country music and have written a few songs, all
with a touch of humour, in the style of Toby Keith/ Brad Paisley/ Trace
Atkins.
I am a member of The Guild of International
Songwriters and Composers, an invaluable resource for up and coming and
established songwriters and through them found S.C.A.M.P Studios who produce
most of my demos.
I love the works of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim
Rice, Barry Manilow, Paul McCartney and of course, the late great John
Lennon.
Achievements over the last few years have been: Lyrics
finalist, Highly commended instrumental, and in the
UK Songwriting Contest have received 16 semi finalist
and 10 commended entries and more recently I won the
2010 Instrumental category with "Leaving You".
I also have two instrumentals published by Cringe
Music Studios in their production library.
I have started a new venture, co writing with
singer/songwriter Marie Lester so watch out for changes here in the
near future!
I would be extremely happy
to forward any further information and CD/MP3's of
my music to publishers seeking new material or for
an artist to cover my songs. I am a member of BMI.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to
my music and I hope you visit this site again.
